Desk Monster Notes! { Clean Desk Incentive }

Summer Mondays are my favorite because they are the day of  Tara's Monday Made It! However it is not yet summer for me (soooo close though!!), so I am just going crazy over everyone else's adorable crafty creations until I have more {summer} time on my hands!!

But I did get around to updating my desk monster notes, and I am LOVING the new design!

Every now and then I will check my students' desks and leave them a desk monster note and little treat. This gives them a little extra incentive to keep their desks looking nice and clean! They get so excited when they walk in the classroom in the morning and see that the desk monster has come!

I have created several different versions to go along with the different months/holidays!

There are notes for:
- Halloween
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas
- Winter
- Valentine's Day
- St. Patrick's Day
- Easter
- Rainy Days
- Spring (Flowers)
- Summer (Lemonade)
- 4th of July
- Generic purple/green monsters!

Also, I had someone request to have notes for tables for those of you who have tables instead of desks, so there are table monsters for all of those holidays/seasons as well!

You can get them in my Tpt store {here}!
And if you have already purchased them, you can just go to "my purchases" and download the updated version! Woo hoo!

To celebrate our last day of school on Wednesday, I'll be giving away 3 packs to 3 lovely followers! Just leave a comment with your email and I will pick 3 winners on Wed.!

And go check out all the fabulous things that everyone is making and linking up with Tara!

  8. What a fantastic idea - I have just started seating plans with my kinders and they are always leaving pencils out! This might just solve my messy table problem =)

  12. Would love to win a set of these cuties...most of these notes are from the 'desk fairy', which truth be told, doesn't do a thing for the boys! BUt a desk monster? They'd love it!

  13. These are adorable! I have done the desk fairy in the past and then get the whole discusision about whether there really is a fairy and then that goes to the tooth fairy...anyway, I like the desk monster better! How cute!

I'm sure it was a lot of work! Thanks for the opportunity to win!

  14. These look great! I've never done the "desk fairy" thing because I thought my students wouldn't approve of a fairy... so these will be perfect!

  16. I LOVE the desk monster cards! They are so cute. I used to use the desk fairy cards, but they would figure out it was me and then start questioning the tooth fairy. Woops!

  17. I love this idea. My student will have a tray next year that slides jntk their table. When their too full they start sticking, but its not skmething I would immediately notice. These cards would be a great incentive to have the kids take their things home! I've not seen or heard about this idea here (uk) and would love to introduce it.

  18. Man, I realised I put their instead of they're and jntk instead of into. These fat fingers can't type very well on a phone.

  27. This is such a cute and original idea! I like it much more than the desk fairy! I use the same monster clip art on lots of things so I will definitely check this out at your store.

  28. Do you have any for book boxes and having the good fit books in them? I teach reading and would love to go into rooms randomly and do something like this. Very cute!
