Teacher Appreciate Week Surprise

Happy teacher appreciation week!

My week got off to a great start this morning when one of my sweeties greeted me at the door with this: 

Pink lemonade-flavored cupcakes!

So sweet and thoughtful!

And I love how she did the frosting! 

She even made one with an "M" for me, but the frosting got a little smushed so I didn't get a good picture of it.

Of course we ate them right up before recess

(and next time I'm at the store I will definitely be looking out for that mix)!

Then, later on today when I checked my email, I was greeted with an email saying that I had been nominated for "Most Fascinating Blog of 2012" in the elementary teacher category!

Needless to say, I am beyond excited!!

A lot of other fabulous teachers whose blogs I follow have been nominated as well! There are just so many fascinating teacher blogs out there and I am honored that my blog is considered to be one of them! Thanks so much to all of my followers. . . you guys are amazing and I love all your sweet comments and inspirational ideas! It seriously brightens my day to read all of your comments and emails! So THANK YOU!!!
